On April 29, 2024, a technical seminar on radon gas was held at the Colégio de Aparejadores of Cantabria, in Santander. The session, organized as part of the European project LeaRn4LIFE, was aimed at construction professionals and gathered around 30 participants.
The seminar was led by Professor Dr. Luis Quindos, from the University of Cantabria, who addressed the main challenges related to radon presence in buildings, the legal and technical requirements for its control, and best practices for prevention in construction and urban rehabilitation.
LeaRn4LIFE is a European project that promotes training and awareness on radon, contributing to reducing exposure risk and protecting public health.
