The Portuguese Environment Agency organized on 19 of March a full-day seminar attended by close to 60 people.
For the event were invited experts from different fields of work, namely legislation, radon monitoring and radon remediation. Despite the seminar being focused on prevention and remediation of radon in buildings, a broader view of radon related themes was presented to promote the knowledge, not only about mitigation techniques, but also about the risks of prolonged exposure to radon, how to monitor radon and applicable legislation that should be taken in consideration by professional working in the field of radon.
Along with that, these events intend to demonstrate how qualification can benefit companies and workers.
