On November 17, 2023, a professional training course on radon gas was held at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. The event was part of the European project LeaRn4LIFE and brought together around 20 professionals. The course was led by Professor Dr. Luis Quindos from the University of Cantabria, a renowned expert in radon research and mitigation.
The session covered topics such as the origin and behavior of radon, its health risks, and best practices for measurement and control, particularly in professional and institutional contexts.
LeaRn4LIFE is a European project that aims to reduce the risk of radon exposure through training and awareness, promoting scientific and technical knowledge among professionals and the general public.
