The Portuguese Environment Agency represented the LeaRn4LIFE project at the construction fair “Architecture, Construction, Engineering, Design” – CONCRETA 2024 – that took place in Porto.
This 4-day event is one of the biggest national industry events in construction, architecture, design and engineering of the future with a wide range of companies’ exhibitions and visitors in the sector of construction. Visitors varied from architects, engineers, contractors, among other professionals.
The LeaRn4LIFE exhibitor were placed with the objective of promote awareness among the professionals about the importance of the construction sector in reducing exposure to indoor radon. Moreover, more than 60 radon detectors were distributed to the public, revealing that the event was a great opportunity to interact and promote knowledge about radon among the citizens.
During the event the project also promoted 2 seminars, one related with radon monitoring and other about radon prevention and mitigation.
