On May 2nd, 2024, Professor Dr. Luis Quindos took part in the Regional Congress of UGT held in Barcelona, delivering a radon awareness session. The session, part of the European project LeaRn4LIFE, was addressed to over 120 participants, including union delegates, worker representatives, and occupational health and safety professionals.
The presentation focused on the occupational risks of radon, its presence in buildings and workplaces, and recommended prevention and monitoring measures.
