The seminar second seminar, organized as part of the LeaRn4LIFE project, took place on 30 of January at the National Laboratory for Civil Engineering and were attended by around 50 people.
The event had speakers from the Portuguese Environment Agency and the National Civil Engineering Laboratory, as well as from the European Radon Association. The seminar focused on constructive solutions to reduce radon concentrations in buildings and also practical examples of the application of these solutions.
These sessions aim to promote knowledge about the risks of prolonged exposure to radon and the importance of constructive solutions for reducing the concentration of radon inside buildings. Along with that, these events intend to demonstrate how qualification can benefit companies and workers.
