The 7th LeaRn4LIFE Project Meeting took place on 26 March 2026 at the Urgeiriça Mining Complex, in Canas de Senhorim. The meeting was marked by the visit of a representative of the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), during which the achievements to date, ongoing activities and the actions planned for the next phases of the project were presented.
Discussions also focused on technical issues related to curriculum content, the integration of the training programmes into university offerings, the recognition processes of the training programmes and their transferability to other contexts. Activities and collaborations to be developed beyond the end of the project were also discussed, with a view to maximising the impact and sustainability of its results.
The meeting included a visit to the Urgeiriça Mining Complex and Chalet Aurora, where the available techniques were demonstrated. At the end of the visit, CINEA's assessment was very positive, recognising the project's progress and its relevance to the radon field at both national and international levels.
