On April 24, 2024, a seminar on radon gas was held at the Higher Technical School of Architecture (ETSA) of the University of Seville, aimed at architecture students. Entitled "Radon Gas and CTE: DBHS6", the seminar welcomed around 15 participants and was part of the European project LeaRn4LIFE.
The session was led by Professors Dr. Luis Quindos, from the University of Cantabria, and Dr. Juan Mantero Cabrera, from the University of Seville. Topics discussed included the impact of radon in building design, relevant Spanish technical regulations (CTE: DBHS6), and architectural solutions for mitigating radon exposure in buildings.
LeaRn4LIFE is an European project that promotes training, awareness, and the dissemination of scientific and technical knowledge about radon, contributing to the protection of public health.
