On November 14, 2023, a specialized seminar on radon gas was held in Motril, Granada, for speleologists and other professionals working in the field of tourist caves. The event gathered around 20 participants and was organized under the European project LeaRn4LIFE. The seminar aimed to raise awareness about the health risks associated with radon exposure in underground environments and to present effective monitoring and mitigation strategies for such specific conditions.
LeaRn4LIFE is a European project that aims to reduce radon exposure risk by spreading technical and scientific knowledge, with a strong focus on educating and training both professionals and the general public.
